I am the founder & CEO of Summercraft Kombucha, holding a Masters of Health Science in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with a concentration in fungal biology.
My work has spanned biotech protein development, community biology and immunology research, independent food production, and community farming. Alongside my scientific training, I’ve spent over 10 years working in restaurants and as a barista in Boston, New York City, and Washington D.C. Those years in hospitality shaped my understanding of flavor, systems, and the social power of food and drink.
Before building Summercraft, I worked across granola production, coffee, service industries, and early-stage biotech; experiences that taught me how to move.
